WANG Wenxin

Research Assistant

WANG Wenxin is a Ph.D. candidate at LIAS, Leiden University (since 2011). She joined the project in August 2014, working on the processing and tagging of digitized data drawn from a body of correspondences between Northern Song officials.
Wenxin obtained her MA in literature from Beijing Normal University. Her research interests lie in the social production of literature and artworks in late imperial China, as well as in the word-and-image relationship of this period. Her doctoral research investigates the production, utilization and circulation of painting inscriptions during the Ming dynasty.
